Here's what I do.
After uploading the images, which you already have, on photobucket, go to Customize Journal, click edit/create mood themes, type the name, and click create, or modify if you already have it. If you're creating a new one, copy/paste url on the space, and don't forget width and height. When you finish, click save. Don't forget also to click on USE on the mood theme, if you have more than one uploaded. That'll do.
The first time I uploaded a mood theme, my computer freezed and I had to start from zero, since then I copy/paste a few urls and click save, then when you come back to the page, the images of the urls you already pasted should appear, that way you know it's working.
Hope it really works for you.

As far as I can remember you put in the url of the picture then you have to put in the dimensions. If you don't put in the dimensions then it doesn't work. It drove me INSANE doing mine, I nearly went blind it took me so long lol.

lol I had to re-do it with the links and the dimentions I actually just pasted the same url and changed the title for each one quicker than going back and forth with photobucket. I think I almost went blind if not a little bit more insane
